About Alpin Family
Alpin Family is one of the leading companies in the hotel industry in Austria and combines the established hotel brands "AvenidA", "The House Collection" and "Alpin Rentals". Alpin Family includes over 16 hotels & residences with over 2700 beds in top destinations in Austria.
Our goal is to make your vacation in the "IN" regions of Austria a very special experience. Our employees put their hearts into their work every day and give their best to create unique vacation moments for you.
The Alpin Family Story
It all started in 2007, with the first facility, the Kitz Residence (image to the right), which was purchased as an investment. AvenidA was founded by Ing. Hans van der Mijl and in 2009 Alpin Rentals followed as the connecting operating company, born out of our desire to have our own professional rental service for our properties.
Since 2009, we have been pursuing the goal of strengthening local infrastructure by creating opportunities to invest in top destinations. In order to optimally strengthen tourism, we operate aparthotels, manage the apartments, restaurants and bars and thus enable a sustainable investment and the best possible utilization for regional tourism. In this way we have become the market leader in the operation of (apart-) hotels and Alpin Family continues to grow. For years, our projects were concentrated exclusively in the beautiful Pinzgau region of Salzburg. Now, however, we are especially proud to be able to establish Alpin Family in other provinces as well. We look forward to expanding our offer in the future to Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Styria.
From 2012 to 2018, Hans van der Mijl and Ralph van Kollenburg were joint managing directors and partners.
Since June 2018, Ing. Ralph van Kollenburg is the sole managing director and shareholder. The brand has been developed into a quality label for real estate investments and unique vacations in Austria in cooperation with various local partners and companies. Alpin Family now unites over 16 hotels & residences with over 2700 beds.
